Case: North Summit Fire District

The North Summit Fire District is a volunteer fire department, serving the towns of Henefer, Echo, Coalville, Upton, Hoytsville, Wanship, and everywhere in between. Their response area goes from the Wyoming border, the Morgan County line to just outside of Peoa. It includes two freeways, railroads, two large reservoirs, the Weber River and many private and public recreation areas.

The North Summit Fire District logo is a simple and basic logo design that was created to enhance their badge. Their badge has their name on it, but it is small and hard to read from a distance. When combined with this logo the it provides the information needed quickly with the artistic elements in the badge.

The Fire District website has a very clean and simple design with large pictures that show the Fire Fighters in action.

The primary purpose of the North Summit Fire District website is to provide important information to the public and for the public to be able to schedule fire inspections, schedule buildings and view upcoming public meetings.

With this being an information website the primary goal was to put the most important information in an easy to access places.
